I really enjoyed working with the team to do a SOLVE cleanup of the English Ivy that was originally brought in to help provide green ground cover but has taken over the forest.
It was really amazing to see how embedded the ivy had become on the ground or on the trees....once it had become engrained it was extremely hard to remove. The vines were really strong and well entrenched in the bark of the trees.
I think the main lesson I got out of doing this was that sometimes we let things slide...but if we are not careful a little bad habit can turn into a big one that can be really hard to break.
