You Are What You Eat

The adult testers are required to do two food journals.
I've always thought that I've eaten healthy, but writing these things down caused me to think deeply about the food I was eating. In the past, I'd pass off things that weren't good for me, but writing it down, forced me to think more deeply about what I was eating, and that I realized that still made some unhealthy choices. There were other times when I didn't eat enough. It interesting how writing can force us to think more deeply about things, especially when we're reflecting on something. While recording what I was eating, I also made plans for future meals, thinking about how I could fit more nutritious foods into my diet.
I suppose the same thing apply to these journals, or the tracking of any other activity.

  1. I think it is great that you can think deeply about what you eat and whether it is healthy or not.
